Come to College with Me Program

The Come to College with Me Program introduces high school students to the college experience by visiting schools and providing educational workshops that prepare students for higher education.

Educational Kits Program

BSEI distributes educational kits three times each year to high school students in Guinea and the United States.

College Success Workshop Series

BSEI offers workshops that help immigrant students succeed throughout their college journey.
Topics Include.
● Time Management in College.
● Mental Health Awareness.
● Finding Internships.
● Understanding the College Experience.
● Recommendation Letter Guidance (available for eligible BSEI participants)

Immigrants Parents

This program is designed for immigrant parents to better understand the importance of higher education and how they can support their children's educational goals.
Program Services
● One-on-one educational conversations with immigrant parents
● Large community educational events focused on college readiness and family engagement

BSEI Building the Bridge

Building the Bridge connects immigrant students and their families with the guidance needed to successfully prepare for college.
Services Include
● College application assistance
● College admission guidance
● College campus visits
● Parent and student support throughout the college planning process

BSEI Mentorship Circle

The BSEI Mentorship Circle provides college students with mentors who understand their academic and professional journey.
Mentors Include
● Working professionals
● College alumni
● Experienced students from the same college or university
The program encourages academic success, career development, networking, and personal growth.

Tutoring and ESOL Program

BSEI offers academic support to help students strengthen their educational foundation. Subjects
● Mathematics
● Writing
● ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)

BSEI Youth Ambassador Program

The BSEI Youth Ambassador Program develops leadership skills among immigrant students while encouraging community involvement and academic excellence.
High School Ambassadors
Open to immigrant students in:
● Grade 10
● Grade 11
● Grade 12
College Ambassadors
Open to immigrant students who are:
● Sophomores
● Juniors
● Seniors
Participants serve as role models, represent BSEI at community events, and inspire younger students to pursue higher education.

Guinea Community Program

The Guinea Community Program supports students, schools, and low income children in Guinea through educational partnerships, literacy initiatives, school supplies, and tuitionassistance. The program aims to increase access to quality education while promoting academic success and community engagement.
School Partnership Initiative
BSEI partners with schools throughout Guinea to support students and strengthen educational opportunities.
Program Activities
● Visit partner schools to meet with students and educators.
● Organize educational workshops and interactive learning activities.
● Promote leadership, academic achievement, and the importance of education.
● Distribution of Education kits pencils, pens, notebooks.
Orphanage Outreach Program
BSEI works with orphanage centers to provide educational enrichment and positive learning experiences for children.
Activities Include

● Coloring and creative learning projects
● Reading activities
● Educational games led by teachers and volunteers

Scholarship Programs

We are committed to expanding educational opportunities and supporting students at every stage of their academic journey. Through our scholarship programs, we help students overcome financial barriers, recognize achievement, and encourage future success.

Scholarship Programs

Award: $1,500 (3 scholarships awarded annually)
Supporting the next generation of college students. The Balde Support Scholarship is awarded annually to three graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll as first-year students at accredited colleges or universities in the United States. This scholarship helps students take the next step toward achieving their academic and career aspirations.

Award: $1,000 (2 scholarships awarded annually)

Recognizing perseverance, leadership, and academic excellence.
The Rising Leaders Scholarship is awarded annually to two college juniors who have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and a strong commitment to academic success. This scholarship celebrates students who inspire others through their determination, service, and dedication to achieving their educational goals while preparing to become the next generation of leaders.

Award: $200 (3 scholarships awarded annually)

Encouraging educational success in Guinea.
The Guinean Fellowship Scholarship is awarded annually to three students in Guinea for high school student who are entering 6th grade, 10th grade, and 12th grade. The scholarship promotes academic achievement, helps students prepare for national examinations, and provides financial support to encourage continued educational success.
